Hello all. Just thought you might want to know that you shouldn't post or talk about anything over email, or VOIP phone calls. They're all being tracked, but not necessarily being listened to or read. If you have any questions, please email me at

Probably some more bs from the government. I will say and do whatever rather it's on the phone or emails. People who track this information can kiss my a****. Now President bush, did you hear me? Can you hear me now?
Troy
lol i don't give a rat's bum! if the G O V wanted to lock me up, they'd have done it by now. But seriously, I think this has been done for years.
LOL It's ironic that you warn us we're not safe to discuss anything over VOIP or e-mail then you link us to your e-mail address!
Couldn't help but notice!
um, this has been going on for years, they can listen to what ever i have to say, i don't hide anything, so they can kiss my @**
what the fuck man this is bogas you couldnt provide a source for your info damn.
True or not, from someone who has been buned at work before, I learned the hard way to not put anything in an e-mail that I wouldn't want on the front page of a newspaper. That's an exageration, but as I'm fond of saying, a certain amount of paranoia is healthy.
Lou
oh don't worry I think you're safe. The government are only interested in your email/phone calls if you've got something to say that they're interested in, and somehow I doutt that.
Well Yes I suppose that the Person Posting of #8 would have little, if any interests pertaining to that of usa interests/or rather say interests pertaining to globally important issues (then again I could be WRONG...as far as Govt. agencies concerned)...where-as YES, I would believe the comments of Poster #7... if Person states, "...from someone who has been buned (burned?) at work before, I learned the hard way to not put anything in an e-mail that..." Personally I would believe this one's comments.... These words would hint to me that a "firing" had taken place ..or maybe a "request for re-assignment..." or of the like... Anyhow the copmments speaks of someone with Personal Experience in this particular matter.(CG)
ah no connie you're right I don't have anything to say that the US government would be interested in, although the UK government do their own fair share of tracking email/phone calls, even web use, e.g. if I were to accidentally click on a site which contained child pornography it would be logged, and if I inadvertantly clicked on it again chances are my movements would be watched more closely by the authorities.
With regard to what you put in emails, no I wouldn't put anything in an email that I wasn't prepared for people to read, in fact I wouldn't put much in emails that i sent from work, because tracking email/internet use isn't an unusual thing to do, and anyone who is careless about their internet use at work is stupid imo. I know for instance of someone who was downloading porn to his computer at work and was instantly dismissed, similarly I know of someone who was having syber sex at work, an equally stupid thing to do.
Yup wheres the source? And if you didn't feel that safe on line in the first place......
Why in Gods green earth did you show a link to your email? On a public website community board where any kind of people both members and non members/visitors have a way to send you email.... You do understand that you can view the boards offline on the zone. Besides, why would you trust the content of our messages?
....some people I'll never understand.
Hahahahaha. We aren't supposed to talk about anything in emails, yet you provide us with your email address if we want to talk about this. How ironic is THAT!
Yep at work it is tracked, so watch what you do at work! My friend got caught sending a forward, it was a clean one, but she got a talking to because it wasn't work related.
Troy
Connie, I didn't get severely burned at work. I expressed an opinion that wasn't too popular with management. I honestly forget what the isue was, but you might say I had my 30 seconds of fame. Whatever it was, I think its water under the bridge now, so all's well.
Lou
Good to hear Motivated,
Honestly, where's your source for this info? Sure, a certain dose of paranoier is indeed healthy, but I find it ironic also how you say to watch what you say in email etc, and then give out your email address!
I heard on this podcast called Security Now that work places tend to monitor a lot, but most people probably don't have to worry about the government doing much because there's just too much to listen to it all.
I have a friend that unpluggs his tv from the wall. cause he herd the CIA can see you threw your tv! even if it's off. The only people who have something to worry about from big brother are the people that are doing something illegal or questionable in the first place.
Oh no! The CIA has been watching me through my TV? I bettter rush home right now and unplug it.
Are people really that stupid?
I actually provide sources, and if people would use that link that says MY Email, then I would be glad to answer questions. And, I did link to my email address, because it is a disposable one, and I couldn't give a damn about it.
um, come on people, you can spy on anyone anywhere. all you need is a digital scanner to listen to cell phones and they are sold on the open markets!!! all you need do is go somewhere like radio shack and you gan get one!!!
even an analog scanner can do it, you just wire it into your pc and with the right type of programme, you decode the data package being transmitted and there you go. all sorted. all done. a neet little scanner. i wouldn't worry to much about it lol. i'd be more worried about the common man listening rather than the government.
It happens at work all the time. One of my friends almost got fired because he/she used the computer for non-work-research related things. That person was told to either stop using the company computers/net access for their personal needs or be fired. Reason of this: Said person had lost their home PC and was awaiting for a new one.
Libraries, goverment buildings and most (if not all) schools/colleges and other businesses keep a eye on what you do via email and what you do on the net. For instance one kid got caught making bets on a website and the librarian told him to log off the computer and leave the library. This was several years ago during my community college days. I can't remember what website he was betting on.
For sources just google skype tapps or something to that effect.
For anyone sho says that we can spy on anyone, "good luck getting into an encrypted file". I don't know what there is out there to listen to, but you should be aware. And, scanners can pick a lot of that stuff up, however, if it is encrypted with 128-bit encryption, you'll have fun breaking it, whereas the government's techno can do it in minutes.
I could care less who monitors me, etc. I also listen to things I'm not suppose to with scanners. I also have this cool radio that can pick up UHF band and mostly at the beginning of that band I get cellular phones. It's fun and some of the stuff you hear is halarious.
Troy
oh it is isn't it. phone sex, bank details, criminal activity, hookers, dirty chatlines, oh yeah it's really funny. definitely it is. the old freequency used to be on the narroband fm, freequency 920 to 980 MHZ. i don't do it now but you can definitely get hold of digital code breakers. alot of radio hams do packet transmissions over the radio waves using computers so it doesn't take much to decript digital freequencies.
know what i used to do? where i lived we had several cell masts in my area i lived in a built up area. i'd walk round the house and find blackspots we had 1 or 2, so the phone would search for other cell masts whilst i'm talking to keep the freequencies randumised. but someone even managed to develop a device to lock onto a spacific phone somehow thus you can change freequency with it. rather scary isn't it??
"I actually provide sources, and if people would use that link that says MY Email, then I would be glad to answer questions. And, I did link to my email
address, because it is a disposable one, and I couldn't give a damn about it."
mmm so let's get this straight, you seem to think that because that email address is a disposable one the government can read it and it doesn't matter? do you think they don't know who you are just because you use that email address and not your normal one? do you think that if you provide these "sources" that because they come from a "disposable" email address the government won't be interested? I think that only one thing rings true about what you're saying, the government certainly aren't going to be interested in anything you have to say, but if they were, they know exactly who you are, because if you're interesting enough to have your emails intercepted, then you're interesting enough to be followed in person.
Hey all the government would get from me is a few phone calls about going out, a few sexy calls with my boyfriend an dhey I'll turn over the fifty four messages from him I have right now to the authorities if that would make you feel better... grins.
I'm not going to spend my life wondering if I'm being spied on every time I make a phone call or send an e-mail.
Why are we being tracked or listened to? And, if we are supposed to be careful, what types of conversations are allowed and disallowed? Seems like this whole topic is full of so much vagueness and uncertainty that being aware is a waste of time because you really can't do a damn thing about it anyway in the end. We're the little peasants and the big bad government has absolute power over us, is that what it boils down to? OK, so what?
We probably can't vote them out of office because they are either above the law or the vote is rigged. See what kind of slippery slope we can slither down if we continue this thought process? Oh well, fear makes the world go round, not love, right?
Well, no, the government can't track me on my disposable email address. For all you all know, I might be using a fake name, and when I signed up with the email address people, I might have given a wrong address, phone, and a wrong name. In fact, I can tell you that I _did. I use this for dummies like you all to be able to get a hold of me. As for radio transmissions are easy to break, well, not if they are being routed through a computer. I know of a person who routes all of the frequencies of his cell through a computer, and it is encrypted with an algorithm so strong, I am not sure the government can even track it. And, oh, by the way, this disposable email address given above is no longer in use. If you want to email me, please follow the link below.
